Exploring the trends of Theme Parks apps on iOS during the second quarter of 2024, we can observe the performance of some of the most popular applications in this category. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a snapshot of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

The My Disney Experience app saw revenues fluctuate, peaking at around $467K in mid-May before dropping to $19K towards the end of May. Downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging in the mid-80K range, while weekly active users hovered around the 120K mark, with a slight peak of 129K in early May.

Disneyland® Paris had no reported revenue, but downloads saw a notable increase from 56K at the start of April to a peak of 103K at the end of May. Weekly active users grew from 219K to a high of 287K in the same period, indicating a strong user engagement despite the lack of revenue.

NBCUniversal Media, LLC’s Universal Orlando Resort also reported no revenue. Downloads for the app showed an upward trend, starting at 63K and reaching 96K by the end of June. Weekly active users started at 195K, dipped to 163K in early May, but then increased to 212K by the end of June.

Similarly, Universal Studios Hollywood™, another NBCUniversal Media, LLC app, had no revenue to report. Downloads were lower compared to other apps in the category, with numbers ranging from a low of 2K to a high of 38K. Weekly active users presented a mixed trend, starting at 96K, dropping to 75K mid-April, and then rising back up to 109K by mid-June.

Lastly, SeaWorld from SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Inc. also showed no revenue. Downloads were the lowest among the top apps, with a peak of 51K in mid-June. As for weekly active users, the data indicates a surge from virtually no users at the start of April to 39K in mid-June.
